  1. I am 61 and found that for me Pro V’s definitely add distance. I only hit my driver 240 with the NXT. If you want a test I will do it.

Fortunately for us all, Titleist makes great golf balls with options for us all. Whether someone loves the high-end professional line of balls or even the low-end economic balls, they all perform great and what works for each individual is all that matters. Glad to hear you love the ProV1. I played it for years but for me these days, ProV1x is working better for my specific needs. Cheers!
  3. I also used to use the ProV1. Now i use the ProV1x for the longer carry and higher spin.

Maybe you might consider getting on a trackman and checking out your numbers. With your driver you definitely want lower spin. High spin with the driver will not actually attain maximum potential with your driver.
They can adjust your loft to help you lower that spin. Just and observation, based on your comment.

I too have played the Prov1 for many years and tried the Prov1x left dash. Have picked up some additional distance and accuracy. Like the performance of the left dash and will be adding it to my game. At 75 always looking for all the help I can get.
  6. If you haven't already, give the AVX a try. Considering swing speed alone (96-98mph), I should probably play the ProV1. However, I hit the AVX longer than the ProV1 and ProV1X. I love the soft feel and slightly lower ball flight. It's in the premium lineup for good reason.

  8. The LEFT DOT is the best ball Titleist ever made IMO......the other day i hit my longest drive with the regular V1 at 337......got 40 yards roll on burnt fairways but i could almost putt to the green.....love the V1 and the left dot...both amazing

I've been playing the Tour Speed this year and get good distance and greenside they work well enough for me. My swing is 96, so would there be any added benefit going to the AVX or either Prov's.

Based on the numbers I've seen, the Tour Speed performs really well. At that swing speed, it travels further than the AVX for sure. I think it even beat the ProV1 and ProV1x...again, at that swing speed. Looking at data from launch monitor and robot testing. I've had similar experience personally. I'd say stick with the Tour Speed!

Have you tried the Tour Speed? Great ball for distance IMO.

All 3 Pro-V/X models, AVX, and Tour Speed have different spin an launch characteristics. What they have in common is a urethane cover and the Titleist logo. Best if you can find a ball fitting but you can compare a couple of sleeves to find which works best for you. Start around the green and work backwards to the tee shot.
Swing speed really is a non-factor. I’m slower than you and the higher launch of the Pro-V1x helps my swing.
