Doesnt seem to be played on any tour. Why not? Ive heard less spin however im always near my ball mark.

I really liked the ball, great feel and very long, but I wanted more spin around the greens.

its a niche type ball. Too soft for most PGA players. They would not be able to maximize distance off the tee and this ball probably flies too low for most professionals.

The Left dot is the ticket.....

I love the AVX and have played them several years. However, found a ProV1x and played about 10 holes with it-likely this will be my new ball moving forward!

Still like AVX, best to test as many Titleist balls as you can to get your best fit IMHO.

What is the deference between the AVX and the Pro V1 Left Dot?
  6. I like the extra distance I get with the AVX, but it seems a bit lighter to me. I get better feel chipping and putting with the Pro V1 and Pro V1X. I play the Pro V1 with softer greens to lessen spin, and Pro V1X with firmer greens to hold the the shot better. I will play the AVX in colder weather for the added distance. I hope this helps you.
  7. I use the AVX at my club when it's windy, but I also have more trouble holding greens with this ball compared to the Pro V1.

As soon as restrictions ease in Melbourne, I will test the AVX and thus compare it to the ball I am currently gaming (PROV1).
