I tried AVX for the first time early this spring after attending a ball fitting event. They are great.

very soft feel as we know but it didnt work for me around the greens like i wanted. The Prov1 is amazing

Just wait for the next iteration to come out :) I'm expecting great things from this ball!

IMO the AVX is a niche ball but has 1/2 the overall playable qualities as the Prov1

I haven’t been fit yet, but I hit AVX over the Pro Vs as well.

I just did a virtual fitting and tried the recommended ProV1X vs. AVX. I did gain a few yards with the AVX and stayed straighter. The V1X had better stopping power on the green for me. I played 9 holes hitting each ball tee to green. Unfortunately had to finish with just the AVX due to losing the V1X's. I am going to give the AVX a another run before making the full decision. Leaning to the V1X for stopping power. I used to play the NXT on cost but now focusing on the performance.
