The left dash was released last year from my understanding (2019 ball). The price that I'm seeing is $47.99 per dozen (depending on site). If they continue with the cycle, it will be a new ball in 2021 along with the ProV1 and ProV1x.

Have you tried the ball yet? I'm in limbo currently. I have a sleeve but unable to test them out yet. I want to compare it to the AVX. I know the characters are different yet similar. AVX low launch, -ProV1x high launch, both low spin. I'm in need of low spin. Just trying to determine what trajectory I want.

Sales to the general public started in 2019. What is available is the current version. It is a low volume ball intended primarily for pros and the most famous user has moved over to another company's tour ball late last year. Not being a standard commercial ball, there may never be a prior generation ball sold at a reduced price if a new version is released. Unlike the current sales of prior edition balls.

So I play them and they are worth the money. I also play the AVX and here's what I think. The left dash is a firmer version of the AVX. The guys at TXG tested them and the results were almost identical. The only difference is the feel. The AVX to me is softer. I see no difference other than that.

So if you like the performance of the AVX but it feels too soft, try the Left dash.

IMO, left dash has low spin like AVX but trajectory is higher and the feel is a lot firmer. I like the left dash a lot.

I enjoy the left dash. Launches a little higher then the AVX. Which helps with the less spin going into greens for me.

Interested in Left Dash feedback. I have been playing AVX for the low spin, I struggle with too much spin and I live in a very windy area near the coast.

Ordered a dozen of these months ago and have had some interesting results.

I am NOT the player Left Dash is designed for. I love the regular Pro V1x for its spin and high trajectory and don't have enough clubhead speed to "need" a harder, lower iron spin ball.

But what the heck, I'm a sucker for any ball with that Titleist logo on it so I got hold of some and played one today ;-)

I kind of liked it, as much as I can tell from a single round on a breezy day. I don't play much attention to "feel" but it did sound a bit louder off the driver (917d2) than regular Pro V1x. No difference in sound off irons and wedges.

Our ultradwarf Bermuda greens are really firm right now and it's hard to find any ball marks but I didn't find the Left Dash hard to stop. Just like the regular Pro V1x with a 7-iron down through PW it hops forward a foot or two then stops. Never spins back but my swing doesn't create spin-back type action anyway. Bunker shots and short game shots didn't roll out any more than I expected.

The only real differences were:

1) It seems to fly lower and hotter off the driver. More like an AVX driver ball flight than Pro V1x. Which is a good thing, that extra-hot rollout usually buys me a cheap extra few yards.

2) I had a couple of full wedge shots cut through the wind and go too far. One shot from 84 yards into the wind with my 90 yard club (50 degree SM7) carried nearly 100 yards. And another 110-yard shot with a PW into what should have been close to a one-club breeze flew, well, about 110 yards. It stopped instantly but did leave me past the hole.

But that's just a couple shots. Could have misjudged the wind. Overall it's more like a regular Pro V1x than different for my game. Since you can't get yellow ones, I'll stick with the regular model.
