  1. Hi guys

Currently using DT truesoft and have been for a while, at 16Hcp I cant say I have much consistency with ball striking. So my question is would a more premium ball like pro v1 make a difference to mid to high handicap Thanks

Check out the posts under Forums "Fitting"... a Ball Fitting might help your game?

Ball striking has more to do with the individual than the ball. I am an 11 but do strike the ball rather consistently and accurately. I just have a few blowup holes and my game is rather bipolar. Good days and bad days. I like the Prov1, the way it feels coming off the face of the club and how it performs around and on the green. I also like the consistent distance I get with each of my clubs. I know the distance for each of my clubs and manage my game around the course always hoping for a good score each time. If ball striking is an issue, I would recommend seeing a teaching pro to work on technique, tempo and alignment, before I would concern myself about which ball to hit. You will find that you ball striking will improve and your game will be a lot more fun.......I get a playing lesson about once a week......With respect........

A ball you feel consistent with is the one to play.

Players play with the ball that feels consistent to them and is reliable at doing what they are asking of it.

Try a sleeve of Pro V, Pro V1x, AVX, TruFeel etc and see which one feels the most consistent to your game.

What this guy said. You won’t know until you try them. Another poster mentioned lessons. That’s just as If not more important.
