There were some other problems in the ball construction There is an acknowledgement that Titleist (by name) is industry-leading in quality control.
This is for a company that owns its own manufacturing. How would vendors that contract their manufacturing control the quality?
If anyone wonders why there is value in the price you pay for a Titleist ball. Haven't been able to get the ball plant tour, but I'm already impressed.
