  1. I’m a golf ball nerd and am well informed. Even about the tour only balls. (But I buy the Pro V1x practice balls cause they are the same thing for less money...) Anyway, I came across a couple dozens of Pro V1 practice containing numerous Pro V1+ balls. The alignment arrows suggest they are 2015 model...

See photo. Let me know. I’d assume it’s a tour only ball that failed to pass final inspection.

Got 2 dozen Pro V1x practice cause I know for sure what they are and how they preform.

  2. Might have been a seeding / test ball. They usually put different symbols on those.
  3. Looks like one of the alternative (non-retail) versions that have been on the USGA Conforming Ball List from time to time. There is a similar Pro V1x model currently on the list, described as:

(arrow) Pro V1x + (arrow) with (arrows) in gray

    The one pictured would be:

(arrow) Pro V1 + (arrow) with (arrows) in gray

if it were listed but as of last week nothing like that appears on the list. So probably a 2015 Tour-only model or something like that.

P.S. If the "+" means it's meant to be even better than a normal Pro V1 I'd be all over that!
  4. I agree
  5. R x out pro v1 x balls just printing not right or something else
