Ok, before I'm slammed here, I know TruVis is a cally thing. cally has their TruVis balls, and TM has their graphic balls (can't remember the name), are we ever going to see Titleist follow this trend? I personally don't love the TruVis design, it's just too busy to look at when I'm addressing the ball. Thoughts??

I would doubt that we will see it in a Titleist ball.

I'm old school. What happened to the old white ball that you mark with your on special mark. It is ok if you like the newer stuff, that is what makes this game what it is.

Eggs don't come out of the chicken with lines or designs on them and I hope my Titleist won't either.

That "truvis" ball reminds me of a soccer ball and appears somewhat over sized, optical illusion. The other ball is the TP5 Mix Red/Yellow. Cannot figure an advantage for either. I can see that both a very busy and could be distracting.
Titleist is the number one golf ball for a reason, it's a darn good golf ball and does not need gimmicks. I am in agreement with Tyler.

Titleist is in the business of making balls that win golf tournaments, not gimmicks.
  9. I used my winnings to buy a dozen Pro-v's. When I walked out of the club house a man told me to take them back because "Girls shouldn't hit Pro-v's" I don't always use them(expensive)but I seem to hit them better than any other ball. Is this just in my head????

Was the guy’s name Hank Haney? You play whatever scores best for you.
  11. I don't see Titleist adding a ball like this to their lineup anytime soon. However, I would be hesitant to say never. I remember when other golf ball companies like cally and TM introduced a yellow golf ball option to their respective premium ball, a lot of people were saying Titleist would not give in to the trend. A couple of years later, here I am teeing up a yellow ProV1X.

Good replies here, I can't bring myself to play one of those busy design balls. Just bought a sleeve of the new Pro V1x this weekend, and I'm stunned at the performance and feel.

It's not in you head, it's in your swing. I hope you continue to play well.

Just a plain golf ball for me, please.
  17. I work in a pro shop, these design balls hardly move. Not worth getting into that small market when you’re #1 already.

Please no patterns or designs. Keep it simple and hey, "if it ain't broke...."
  21. Been playing white Titleists
since the days of the Pro Trajectory model. Might give yellow Pro V1’s a try someday, but that’s as far from traditional as I’ll stray.

While not for me, I am all for growing the game. This happens when you enjoy the game. If a yellow ball makes the game more enjoyable for you, then play your yellow ball. Yes, I hope that yellow ball is a Titleist and it's the best ball for your game. If a pattern on your ball makes it easier for you to see and leads to more enjoyment, then by all means. If there is a real demand then I am sure Titleist will be paying attention. As was mentioned above, we now have a yellow ProV because the demand was there.

I believe Titleist makes the best ball out there with the ProV line. For me, it has proved to be the best ball for my game and it's not leaving my bag. I also understand people have different likes and dislikes. Options are good.
  23. The pattern golf balls sell like crazy, if they continue to sell and grow in popularity titles will start offering them aswell. That's how business works.

Just like the yellow proV. Colored balls account for about a 3rd of the market. You are leaving money on the table not making them.
