Right ball for me.

  1. I just got fitted for new ts3 driver and ts2 fairway wood. Fantastic experience, as I gained 6mph ball speed, and 15 yards in distance with driver. My swing speed is around 90mph now, will probably be in mid 90’s by summer. Fitter (Justin Long representing Titleist at a fitting at Golf Galaxy in North Olmsted, Ohio) did great job. He cut down on my spin, with new specs on clubs. Ideally though, he said it would be ideal if I hit ball a bit higher. I asked which ball I should play, and he thought pro v 1x made sense, as it would launch higher. Wondering what others think about that. I’m trying to hit driver farther. Thanks ahead time, to whoever responds. Just wondering what others on this thread may have experienced with 2019 balls.

I say grab a sleeve of each and work from the putting green to the tee box. Can also hit the course at twilight and get a real life scenario and you'll get the balls back. Best of luck.
  3. Sounds like a good idea. Thanks.
  4. Hi, I had the same question a few years back. I moved to the prov 1x simply down to launch with the driver. Maybe get a sleeve of each and play the 2 balls on each hole and compare

    Good luck!
  5. Both pro v balls are great. Use the pro v1x if you like a more aggressive feel on the club face. Both fly far. I still like the pro v1 for me yet I do not have any reservations playing the pro v1x.
  6. I appreciate how dedicated Titleist is in bringing the best equipment into the industry. One thing for sure any Titleist equipment a golfer uses is tops in the industry!!
