Cracked Titleist AVX

    Team Titleist....I was playing a fairly new (bought 3-4 months ago and played 1.5 rounds) Titleist AVX when I noticed it had a fairly long crack developing in it. Has this been reported before? I am not a high speed player (90-92 mph swing speed), it was not super cold (55 degrees), and it did not hit anything with any force that could account for the crack. An image is attached. Thanks.

    Here is a second photo of a smaller crack starting on the other side. Never seen a ball do this.

    In addition to the AVX balls I've used, I've never seen that happen to a Titleist ball - even if hitting a stone wall. Just on range balls beat to death.

    Do you leave your bag in your car? I left my bag in the car till I found out how bad it was for my clubs and balls. Heat and cold can have a huge effect on plastic and rubber materials.

    I've seen this before. Have done it to my Pro V1s. But I usually play 1 till it is fully wore out. Surprised to see it would happen on a fairly new ball though.
