Prototype golf balls

    Played with the prototype golf balls yesterday. Didn't seem to get the distance I get from my normal Titleist balls. Seem softer, got more spin on the greens. I liked that they held the greens better.

    Just curious if the temperature was similar to what you normally pla in cuz that can have dramatic effects of distance.

    We've had horrid cold temps lately and I'm trying to keep that in mind when I'm finally able to test my test balls.

    Just a thought...

    This was my first thought as well. Would be curious to see if the results would change if you hung on to one of these balls until early summer.

    How do I get signed up for the prototype testing? I thought I had filled something out earlier. Do u have to be selected?

    I tested during temps in the 50's. I used and compared the new PRO-V1x and 2016 model. I also didn't see a distance difference with my driver. The difference for me was with all irons. Seemed to me the new ball spun and stoped better. With wedge shots and putting seemed softer as well.
