Don,
So...are you saying that if u got a red numbered ball, that it probably was a PRO V1, and that if it was a black numbered ball, it was probably a PRO V1X???? Just curious????
Thanks

Red numbers are Pro V!x balls (in real life). Black numbers are the Pro V1 ball.
I play them both for different reasons. The Pro V1 'feels' softer to me and I enjoy that feel sometimes. The x feels a little harder. They both go plenty of distance for me and stop nicely on the green.

Monty, I would suggest being active on this site. I was very fortunate to get a sleeve this year, the first year that I joined. I was blown away as to the amount of detailed information that they had us complete on the survey. It was an amazing experience. I've played Titleist since I was a kid, and will never play another ball.
I was lucky enough to get a sleeve two years ago and played it, filled out the questionnaire an immediately switched to the new Pro V1 when it came out the following spring.
It's definitely an honor and a thrill to get one of those white boxes and I'm hoping in the future I will be lucky again.

I started out as a cally player because my brother in law was a devout follower of that brand and in the 3 years since, I've just about completely switched to not only Titleist balls but their clubs. Actually have a 714 AP1 3 iron on order to get rid of my last remaining cally hybrid club. Love Titleist balls, they not only perform but hold up! No joke!
