Great new ball. Just tried it last weekend. Found them to be longer but very similar to my Pro V1. Thanks Titleist for the opportunity to try out the new equipment. Great job Guys.

I completely agree. Very soft feel and felt much more in control during my round. It was a very forgiving ball.

I agree as well but the ball didn't over spin. Helped me shoot 75...my best round ever.

The ball had great feel compared to my usual 1X and think it has the a softer feel than the Pro-V1 great spin off the short irons and was as long as the 1X if not longer off the tee. Did anyone find that the cover maybe a little tougher than either of the 1X or Pro-V1 my wedges did not seem to eat these like sometimes happens with my other balls??

Yes, the cover was tougher than the ProV1. Hit a cart path 1x and the ball did not cut or rip. Just a small scuff. It was not longer off the tee for me. It was about the same or even 5-10 yards less. That said, it was a great ball with great feel on and around the greens with the shorter irons! Shot a 69 with it! That is going on the shelf. Good ball!

Having put them in play several times I have to admit that the cover is without a doubt a vast improvement over past models, the durability is amazing while maintaining a very supple feel. The amount of spin generated on extremely soft controlled green side chips is far superior to either current models. Distance on all shots are very comparable, with the trajectory being slightly lower that what I'm used to seeing from the proV1. They really put me in mind of the 1x as far as trajectory is concerned but the spin/control really seems to favor a more proV1 type ball. I'm enthusiastically awaiting both my opportunity to provided the company with my feedback and for a product like this to hit retail shelves.

I just played my second round with the test ball yesterday and have to say I was quite impressed. I was getting pretty much the same distance as I usually get with my 1x ball, but the spin/control I gained with the test ball was just awesome! I liked the feel of the test ball better, especially with the short irons and wedges.Overall, really enjoyed getting to try the new ball and can't wait for it to hit the market!

I normally play Pro V's and NXT Tour balls. I found the new test balls to be just a few yards shorter, softer, and more workable. Spin on approach shots about the same. I normally have a high ball flight so I did'nt notice it as being any higher in flight. Playing public courses I usually spin the ball back a foot or two. The test ball was more durable however, ended up losing one in the water and the other in the rough trying to cut across a left dogleg. Did get to play about three rounds with them though. I did have a hard time trying to get online for the survey with my I-phone though. All in all I'd say it was comparable to the Pro-v's and NXT tour ball.
