"Test" golf balls

    I revived a sleeve of the new golf balls a few weeks ago, and have tested them many times. The thing that stood out the most was that they seem to have much less spin off of the diver. It did not have as much spin around the green as well, which resulted in less accurate short game. All in all it was a great off of the ball tee and on the green putting.

    I agree about less spin off the driver, which helped with my accuracy. I also, agree with getting less spin around the green, however for me, the ball reacted more consistently, than I was used too. While I did not get my normal amount of spin, I was consistently getting the same amount of spin which I was able to adapt to and help me around the greens. Putting I felt the ball had an exceptional feel.

    My assesment is identical to yours. Straighter off the Tee, I did'nt care for the way the ball behaves around the green, my short game suffered with this ball. Putts beautifully. Now that I know it wasnt just me, I will give them another try this weekend knowing that it wont stop as well on the finesse shots.
