I have used the "test" golf balls for 3 rounds and love them. I usually play with Pro V1. These test balls have a much softer feel and seem to go about 10 yards further. the launch angle seems to be very similar to the Pro V1. Spin is about the same but the feel around the green is great. I would certainly recommend these ball to a mid-handicap player like myself (10.3 index).
