Played this morning and while I donated my fair share of Titleists to the Goddess of Field and Stream, she also giveth one back.  Bit of history and I used to play these in my 20s.  I haven't seen one in probably 15 years.  Funny thing was, the course is only 3 years old and it was sitting about 20 feet off the green in plain sight.

Wow.  Is that going to become part of a collection or are you going to try and play it just for kicks?

I thought about putting it in play, but it sits on my desk along with one of the prototypes.

Its amazing that you found that gem of a ball.  I have buckets full of used balls but haven't seen one like that in years!!!  Great find!!!

  7. Keith, do remember the days when the biggest decision one had was either to play a 90 or 100 compression ball! LOL

Hah...I have a few in my collection, most of them oblong! The predecessor to the 392/Pro V1...pretty cool! I found an old Mxfli the other day too, used to play those babies allot around the same time!

I have 5 of those old gems.  Was cleaning out the basement and found an old bag in the basement that the Tour Balata's were hiding out in, what a surprise.  Those were quite the ball in their time.
