  1. hey,

how about the new pro v's called pro v2, would be so much cooler, rather than just calling them Pro v1 all the time,

let me know what you think

Actually, I like the consistency with the name.  Other mfgs are constantly changing and it makes it difficult to maintain the lineage.

If you got something great be proud of it.   Build on it from year to year and don't mess with it.

My kids feel like they found the "golden egg" when they find a lost ProV1 on the course.

Don't mess with the name of the best ball out there on the market.

You can do what you want with the others.

Lol. Why change a brand name that everyone knows? Even some non-golfers know about the "ProV1" name.

It took TM a while to figure out that changing the name of their tour level ball every year was a mistake.

Pro Vs are the #1 ball in golf! Why would you name any model with a #2? Nope. In fact, any other golf ball manufacturer who tries to claim they are number one is full of #2! Another reason NOT to use the number 2.

I agree with others, leave the name alone.

I love old posts that pop back up like the cicadas at The Memorial. :)

But this thread is only 9 years old. Cicada cycles are 13 or 17 years.

Looks like Titleist decided to keep the #1 ball the -V1.

Interesting thought for a very brief moment, but no reason to switch. that would be like calling the next TSi drivers TSg doesn't make sense.

Im not down with the idea of a name change. Titleist has the right idea.

Please don’t fix something that doesn’t need to be fixed.
  17. Definitely leave the iconic product name alone. No change needed.
