Just a couple weeks ago I was able to get fitted for a set of irons at Titleist’s Manchester Lane facility in Acushnet, MA. and it was such a great experience! I am a new golfer and I know this year is the year I get out a lot more than I have in the past. I knew my old clubs just weren’t the right fit for me. I’m still working on my swing and I wasn’t sure if I should even get fitted yet. The Titleist fitters reassured me that they could help me and they definitely did! After some good conversation and an explanation of what I was about to experience, I was able to start swinging away! They started with giving me some great set up adjustment tips and after several swings with my old clubs and golf wisdom, they were placing new irons in my hands. They gave me a set of T350’s and I went from 85-90 yard line drives to the left with my old set, to 150 yards high launch shots and with a perfect line directly in front of me. I’m not saying the forgiving T350’s added 65 yards to my game. What it did was instantly give me the confidence to fully swing a set of clubs! The feel of the irons and that sweet sound you hear when you make solid contact were enough for me to commit to full, strong swings that I couldn’t commit to before. Needless to say, I placed my order for my new set of irons that following day. I can’t wait to get fitted for a driver next! Thank you all for your help!
