Tt member since June 2012 and just like you and the Masters tickets, it's the rejected folder again for me as well.

Maybe next year. Congrats to all those selected

I was not one of the lucky ones, on the waitlist.

Will be available if needed. Probably the closest to the site.

I got email saying I was on the wait list. Not sure if that's the standard rejection letter or if there's a glimmer of hope?
Fingers crossed lol. Been here from the very beginning and Titleist has treated me right. This would be the culmination of a long and wonderful relationship to get a spot.
    Happy Spring team!

Hey James... I can confirm that the wait list is indeed a real thing. There was at least one that I know of that came to Fox Harb'r who was not one of the original lucky draws. Keep your fingers crossed and keep hoping for potential good news :)

Thanks brother Darius for giving me a glimmer of hope!
Maybe if the golf gods are willing we can run into each other again.

I got lucky last year, came off the waitlist for the Fox Harb'r event. Still on the waitlist for this year. I remain optimistic, but two years in a row is highly unlikely :)

On the Waitlist but will go to Ireland. I am not sure why we (Canada) insist on this lottery approach ...... beer talk I suppose.

Probably the same reason that St. Andrews does it and that Bandon has started doing it this year. High demand and trying to be equitable as much as possible.

Dale, I am sure that is the reason, a desire to be equitable. My counter might be that most TT enthusiasts monitor and contribute to the forums, will be anticipating the events list release and will find a way to be ready for the registration. I think it also stems from the limited spots allocated to the Canadian events - I truly believe we are selling ourselves short nationally, given the number of folks who muse about not getting selected via the draw.

Anyway, beer talk for Ireland and Sand Valley.

I agree with Dale... The demand for this event is huge. I do not recall the exact number that entered into the draw last year, but I believe it was easily in the hundreds. There is just no way the Titleist staff could provide the level of personal attention with fittings, putting, chipping etc... along with the golf if the number gets too high. Hopefully over time everyone that wants to will get a chance to experience an event !

Lucky/Unlucky - I was incredibly fortunate to receive an invite from the waitlist, Sadly I am now unable to make it. I hope one of the TT faithful in here are able to go.

Incredible story - I took a CPR course late last year. Never in a million years did I think I would ever need to use it. Well on March 1st my wife collapsed and stopped breathing. I started CPR immediatley. 7 minutes later EMS arrived and continued. She was revived. Long stay in hospital but she is back home and will make an excellent recovery.

Please consider taking a CPR course folks, you could save a life, especially out on the course!!!

Oh my - Alex... That is indeed an amazing and absolutely wonderful story ! Not that she collapsed, but because you used your training and managed to help her recover. Cherish every moment you have together ! Stories like this are so heart warming. Thank you for sharing !!!
  22. I too received a notice that I am on a waiting list. I figured it was a polite way of saying better luck next year.
