Golf Without Fans

    I was watching the skins game on the weekend with Rory, DJ, Ricky and Mathew Wolfe. Over all it was really nice to be able to watch the pros playing again. Personally I would have liked to hear a lot more banter amongst the groups and between the players. There were a few good natured jabs, but not enough to keep things rolling along. Without the fans we could have used more chatter between the players. It was also so strange not to hear lots of cheers when the putts dropped or shots flew into the greens. I can just imagine how much cheering we would normally have heard from the fans when Rory stuck his shot on the grean close to the hole during the playoff :) This is certainly going to be a strange season !!! The broadcasters have an opportunity to enhance the presentation or ruin it... It will be interesting to see how they handle the fact that there are no fans to provide the cheers and increase the tension and pressure on the players.

    Maybe they can have a sound boxes on the tee box with mashed potatoes and get in the hole on the greens.

    It was actually a little sad to see in that match. Rory started off on the first green with a little needle and nobody bit. There was really no good banter after that. I can't wait until all this crap is over with and we can get back to normal.
