Look great. I like that the ap1's have moved to more chrome then satin, I find the satin mark up quite easily, also Interesting to see that the ap2's dont have the tungsten weighting in the 8-P.

I'd have to say, I am relieved that I own a complete set of 714 AP2's. I think one of the aesthetic differences between the two models that I don't agree with, is the 'tungsten' toe tag. Titleist have been using tungsten as long as anyone else, why now the need to advertise something that was normally kept behind shiny chrome?

I have to agree... I simply love my 714 AP2's. They feel so solid on impact and the feedback that I get from them is terrific and has helped me improve my swing/impact. But, purely on an aesthetic basis, I just think that the new 716's don't match up very well with the 714 AP2's. I think that they added the tungsten label on some of the clubs so as to bring more technical curb appeal or shelf appeal to the golfer who normally plays a GI iron. This could be the next step up for them in a new iron set,, combining the best of forged/blade like irons with the technical benefits of perimeter weighting with the use of tungsten inserts. I suspect that the more traditional, die hard, alpha's amongst us will still prefer the CB's or the MB's regardless. By the way, the 716 MB's look fantastic!
