    Any plans for getting out to celebrate Canada Day on a golf course ?

    Perhaps you are planning on a game with family or friends followed by a nice BBQ ?

    Myself - I will have to take a day off from golf this Wednesday. I can golf almost every day, but chances to spend Canada Day with my mom and my dad who turns 90 in a week are limited. 

    Looking forward to hearing if any of you have some great plans for Canada Day !

    Hey Darius, You know my favorite day is Canada Day (hence my golf bag!) so I will be out there rain or shine. My friends and I at the club run a "Tips" day amongst ourselves, 14 twosomes made up of a low and a high handicap and we play the 7200yds. Odd holes, best ball in from the best drive. even holes scramble. We start the day off at a friend who lives on the course with Caesars and a Calcutta, betting and fun. We all tee off late morning and finish with fun at the clubhouse and payouts. Its an awesome time! Happy Canada Day Team Titleist! James G

    I spent Canada day down at the Jays game. It was a great day with the troops in the house and Don Cherry throwing out the first pitch!

    Hey Darius,

    No golf for me.  I am currently touring Newfoundland, and don't have the clubs with me.  But, we JUST finished watching the Canada fireworks (half hour earlier in Newfoundland).

    I worked in the morning but spent the afternoon on the course with my best friend and her youngest grandson. My husband had to work yesterday....he gets Friday off instead and will probably be out at a local course then. We are playing with friends in a scramble tourney on Sunday so that will be our late Canada Day celebration.
