I love my 690.MB irons I bought back around 2005. I know there are clubs out there that make it easier for me to hit but I prefer muscle back irons and I'm a Titleist fan. 

These 690's are starting to get banged up a little although still very playable however I am now looking at the new 714 MB's and will possibly trade my old ones in. The Titleist people have my specs on file and I don't want to change anything there with the possible exception of the shaft.

My current shafts are the Dynamic Gold S300 and they give me the trajectory I like. The problem is I am not a youngster anymore and quite possibly a lighter and/or regular shaft might be the way to go. The thing is I don't want to hit the ball higher as the current trajectory works out well.

Suggestions anyone?
