I know many have been and as others, I would highly recommend the experience! I went this past Tuesday to Eagles Nest and had a full bag fitting. After pulling into Titleist's Fitting reserved parking spot, Chris Welton came out to introduce himself. Asked me to warm up so I would be ready to go...so definitely show up early. We looked at my irons first and he asked what bothered me and what kind of shot shape I was looking for. After a couple swings and look at the Trackman, he started to put shaft combos together. Let me tell you, he nailed it the first time but we kept trying other combos to make sure. This guy is good!! He would then take the time to explain the read out from Trackman and why we tried what we did. Then we headed to the chipping area and tried various shots, swings from different lies with my existing wedges. Then he started to hand me other wedges with various grinds. Not only that, he explained and gave me lessons on bounce too. Really helped me understand how this affect the shot played Afterwards, we started to hit the driver. I was really happy with my 913 D2 but it amazed me how compact the dispersion became once I was fitted to a proper shaft and it also surprised me that 1/2" shorter made a huge control difference. Even though we tried other woods and hybrid, he was very happy with my existing set up. At the end, he would go into detail about my stats and it was really cool to see the actual numbers of your own swing. It really helps to go in open minded because Chris really knows his stuff!! After all said and done, I was amazed at the difference of what properly fit clubs will do. I did gain 12 yards on my irons alone with a slight fade shape. The wedges were awesome and the driver set up would give me more confidence. He helped me put together my golf club set and not only recommended my ball to play but gave me a few!! An email was sent to me within minutes of leaving Eagles Nest with all my Trackman stats, trajectory, comparisons and then the actual club and set up recommendation. I'd like to take the time to thank Chris Welton and once again I highly recommend the experience!!
