Yay - Today May 1st was opening day at my home course Vespra Hills. 

The weather was awesome and the course was in excellent condition. Met up with my friends who spent most of the winter down south, and there were obvious differences in the games between those that spent the winter playing in Florida and those who were relegated to the basement :)

My putting was okay, and surprisingly the rest of my game (apart from my abomidable bunker play) was pretty good.

We have three nines and I hate to play favorites, so I played all three today. I can honestly say I was glad I put on my boots and heavy coat throughout the winter to go for walks as I managed to walk the 27 holes and lived to talk about it. The icing on the cake was making a birdie on the 27th hole to cap off a perfect day !

The season is now on - Let the games begin !
