Driver shaft on hybrid

    Hi,

    I just purchased a new Diamana D+ 72 whiteboard shaft and it has left me with and extra 62 gram shaft of the same make. I also have a 910h 20* standard length, I'm wondering if I purchase another 910 or 913h 20* head and use the longer shaft if it will 1) give a little more distance to fill the yardage gap in my bag and 2) is it feasible to use a longer shaft on a hybrid?

    As an FYI, the 62 gram shaft is stocked with the surefit adapter so tip size should not be an issue...or is it?

    Any info, experiences, advice is welcomed.

    Carmine,

    With regards to the extra Diamana D+ driver shaft unfortunately the shaft will not fit into the hybrid as the hosels are different from driver to hybrid.

    As for the longer shaft etc, in theory it may provide more distance due to increased club head speed but bare in mind center strikes will become more difficult resulting in less accurate shots. 

    If you are looking for a new shaft for your older generation 910H, we do offer shaft only purchases that are assembled with the proper SureFit Tour hosel in our facility; we recommend visiting a local Titleist fitter to assist in getting fit and obtaining the proper shaft for your hybrid to help lower your scores.
