    Hi,

I recently purchased a 913 D2 driver.  I am wondering about the interchangeable head weights.   What 'weight' is the standard weight that is included with the driver (believe it is is the 'red dot' one).   What are the other different 'weights' available.

What are main reasons for changing the weights ...either lighter or heavier ? ... just feel ?  making head lighter to possibly increase swing speed ? ... possible changing centre of gravity ?

    Thanks,

    Troy R.

    Troy,

In regards to the SureFit Tour weight most stock clubs will have the Red (9 grams).  However this may change depending on the shaft, shaft length, grip and grip size being used.  The weight is utilized to reach a target or specific swingweight.  For example if a club is over length from the standard 45" the swing weight will increase; in order to get the swing weight down to keep feel consistent we would use a lighter SureFit Tour weight.

The weight itself does not play an impact on the performance of the club but will assist in acheiving a swing weight that works best for the player.

As for options, the following are the weights we use by colour code

    • 4 gram - White Dot
    • 7 gram - Green Dot
    • 9 gram - Red
    • 11 gram - Blue
    • 14 gram - black
