The Specs page at Vokey.com  http://www.vokey.com/wedges/details/vokey-spin-milled.aspx  has a lot of great info about what's available in the SM4 line.

I have recently put the 46° (bent 1° weaker to 47°) in to play and find that I don't need the P in my CB's. I also weakened my 9 iron by 2° and 8 iron by 1° so that there was no real gaps from 140m in to the green.  Gripping down on my 9 iron is like playing my old CB PW- so I hardly miss it and I get the extra scoring club for playing more pitch and run shots around the green.

The extra Vokey has been great over the winter especially out of wet sand and wet grass and around the greens getting more run on chip shots - as it has only 6° of bounce. Now that the ground is getting firmer and the greens running faster I can easily switch back to the 54° wedge and play the same shots around the green and nothing in my set up or shot making changes.

I hope that helps- I guess the decision you make when you go to put the 46 Vokey into your bag is will you get more out of a third scoring wedge in and around the greens or do you still rely on another iron in your 'set' from the fairway- particularly 120 yards in.

Just back from a fitting session with Isaac and Kevin (my club pro).

We worked out that  I'm going with the CBs from 3-6 and 7 through 9 in MBs.

We picked out a 48 degree Vokey which will be bent to 47 to replace the PW.

Can't wait for them to arrive now.

I sure will enjoy them-once they finally arrive! Don't know what the guys in the pro shop are doing!

My fitting was the first for the day, followed shortly after by one of the assistant pros.

Coincidentally, we both went for the same set makeup and his arrived within a week.

I've been waiting nearly three weeks now and no news yet.

Just as well I've got my backup 710s.
