Hi guys, i was recently fitted for some 912 AP2's. The clubs are great and i am happy with the results. nice launch angle and out of the middle each time. However, the fitting was done on an outdoor range, lie board and the fitters eye. Am i missing out on much by not having been fitted on a launch monitor and should i seek one when the time comes to be fitted for a new driver and fairway woods?

Hi Tony I recently got the AP1,s  driver , fairway and hybrid woods and suggest you go with the launch monitor if you can I was fitted the same way as you and I have to say that I am not happy with the wood setup suggested, they were all set at different settings and that dosen,t make a lot of sense to me emailed titleist and didn,t get a response at all I suppose once the deal is done it,s see you later.

  3. Tony, launch monitors are good but sometimes they don't tell the whole story of how the ball flies. I had a fitting on a range and on a launch monitor and the monitor told me a 910D2 with a stiff RIP60 shaft was the one but out on the range I ended up ordering a D3 with the stock 72 gram Diamana shaft. The ball flight looked beteer, went further and rolled better. I guess the best option is to get fitted with a launch monitor on an outdoor range.
