Where is it?

Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, Castle Stuart Golf Links, Inverness, Scotland

The 2016 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open will be the 34th staging of the event, first played in 1972. This year it is hosted at Castle Stuart Golf Course. Castle Stuart Golf Course is at the heart of the highlands offering classic links golf that is beautifully complemented by spectacular views overlooking the Moray Firth and its dramatic coastal landscape.

This is the last event in the global Open Qualifying Series, with four qualifying places available for the leading four players, not otherwise exempt and who finish in the top 12 and ties.

Who's going well?

After Round 1 Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Scott Hend is joint leader carding a round of 69 (-3). Fellow golf ball loyalists Andy Sullivan, Tyrell Hatton and Padraig Harrington are just one off the lead carding 70 (-2).

Titleist by Numbers:

At this week's European Tour event, 64% of the field trusted in the Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x to make a difference in their game. Therefore out of a field of 156 people, 99 players teed up a Titleist.

What's next?

145th Open Championship, Royal Troon Golf Club, Ayrshire, Scotland

Our Tour team have been busy fitting our prototype #Titleist917 Drivers this week, watch this space for more news coming soon.

Wishing all Titleist Brand Ambassadors and Golf Ball Loyalists the best of luck for the rest of the tournament.
